The decision to puncture or not to puncture is left up to the individual player, but it is encouraged to check the fandom's precedence before picking up a new character and making such an important decision. Puncturing usually works out best when everyone from a fandom all make the same decision, but it's not impossible to play with fandom mates who have made a different decision than you have. Let me explain a little more about how puncturing works in this game.FANDOMS
All fandoms whether or not they are marked as 'yes' or 'no' on the puncture list exist in the game world. The list is simply here to make it easier for players to reference which characters they can speak to about their fandoms and which ones they can't.CANON PUNCTURING
Answering 'yes' to this question means that after the character has redeemed all of their memories on their memory table they may learn that their fandom exists in the real world. Answering 'no' to this question means that the character in question will never learn that their fandom exists in the real world. A mental block is in place to prevent them from seeing other characters discussing their fandom and it is asked that no other character mention that character's fandom to them directly.
